New Post Office

There is a new Post Office on the West Bank at Baeirat. 

To find it, go up the main road from the ferry to the police checkpoint at the crossroads. 
Turn left (towards Esna, Edfu) and go as far as the second bridge on the left across the canal (about 2.2 km.). Opposite this bridge, a few metres down the side street, you will see the green sign of the post office. 
It is closed on Fridays and Saturdays.
​I am told that it accepts Visa, and can give change in small notes and coins.
