News from Asasif

There have been some spectacular discoveries at TT33 on the Asasif.

I will provide links to English language newspaper reports with good photographs and a video of the opening of a sarcophagus to a media audience. The tomb, TT33, is the largest for a non-royal person in Thebes, having some 22 or more chambers on several levels, and dates to the late period, so must have been built over an earlier tomb.
